TRACING LINES is here!
It’s about time for a new film.
We’ve been keeping a secret from you. Over the past year and a half, the Trickline Collective has been producing a new film- “Tracing Lines”.
Tracing Lines is the culmination of countless hours of effort put in by our filmmaking and athlete team to build what will be the pinnacle of slackline filmmaking.
Who’s featured?
We traveled to Japan, France, Utah, Colorado, Germany and Brazil to film with the best slackliners of their discipline.
Our featured athletes include: Benoit Brume, Davis Hermes, Taylor St. Germain, Sakalomo, The Nakamura Bros, Mao Takebe, Benni Schmid, Nikolay Shelamov, and Kieran Blood (among many others)
What’s different about this film?
We went all out on this one. While our previous film, Lines Between Us, was basically just “Justin filming his friends with a camera”, Tracing Lines takes the idea of the slackline film to a whole new level of professionalism.
We have new cameras, multiple filmmakers, multiple international trips, a (real) graphic designer, and a bangin’ soundtrack. Oh, and did I mention there’s a world premier?

Our Purpose in Filmmaking
The Trickline Collective has released 2 full-length films showcasing our sport’s unique disciplines and personalities. We believe that the biggest value that slacklining provides us is community and connectedness, and we pride ourselves in showcasing slackliners of all genders, races, and backgrounds to tell the story of how this pursuit of balance brings us together.
Lines Between Us
This 2021 Trickline Collective film highlights the top athletes in each discipline of slacklining, as well as how each of the disciplines are interconnected.
Lines Without Limits
Trickline Collective’s first full-length film, Lines Without Limits premiered in May of 2020 and was the first slackline film to showcase the best athletes of tricklining, highlining, and freestyle all in one story. LWL is a great introduction to how these different styles of slacklining came about.
